Dale E Jr Busted Spinning

Dale Earnhardt Jr. used one of the oldest tricks in racing Sunday at Bristol, when he intentionally spun his No. 8 Chevrolet to bring out the caution flag during Sunday's Food City 500.

Then he bragged about it over his two-way radio.

NASCAR responded Wednesday by docking him 25 championship points, fining him $10,000 and putting him on probation until June 1.

"The driver of the No. 8 car was quite vocal in admitting he intentionally spun out his car to cause a caution condition on the track, which is clearly prohibited in the NASCAR rule book," NASCAR President Mike Helton said. "Actions such as
this will not be tolerated."
